Log home builders
Jake | January 4, 2010Check out this encouraging story of two men who built log home without any builder experience. It was a long process, well planned and lots of fun (tiring too).
Log home floor plan designing took years, but they had time because they were expecting their stored poplar logs to dry and shrink. Finally the building started. They hired a builder to construct the concrete foundation and block basement, and their families and themselves did the log work.
This article shows us that anyone can do it, but only if there is the will to do it. (Edited 2010 - looks like the article is no longer online)
